New Patient Exam
A thorough examination, which includes:
Gum Health Assessment: Checking for signs of gum disease and periodontal issues.
Tooth Inspection: Evaluating each tooth for decay, cracks, or other damage.
Soft Tissue Examination: Inspecting the tongue, cheeks, and other soft tissues for abnormalities.
Bite and Jaw Analysis
Digital X-RAYS
Digital x-rays will be taken to provide a detailed view of the teeth and underlying bone structure, helping to identify issues not visible during the physical exam.
Oral Cancer Screening
A screening to detect early signs of cancerous or precancerous conditions in the mouth. This quick and painless examination is typically performed during routine dental check-ups and plays a vital role in early detection and treatment of oral cancer.
3D Digital Scan
This advanced technology uses an
intraoral scanner: a small handheld device, to capture highly detailed, three-dimensional images of a patient's teeth and oral structures

Dr. Shamil Hajee, DMD
Going to the dentist has always been an enjoyable experience for Dr. Hajee, and with no surprise he decided to make a career out of it. Dr. Shamil Hajee grew up in Burnaby, where he graduated from Simon Fraser University with a B.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. After a brief period of working in Cancer Research, he went on to receive his D.M.D. from The University of Sydney, in Australia. During his time there, he was actively involved in the community as a volunteer in several outreach programs as well as providing dental care in under-serviced areas.
Dr. Hajee has a strong belief in taking the time to get to know his patients personally and their oral health goals. While he loves to continue to grow and further his skill set, his favourite aspects include: Restorative Dentistry, Oral Surgery as well as Cosmetic Dentistry to help his patients feel confident in their smile.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hajee enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. He is a proud dad and enjoys live music and comedy. He is also an avid traveller and loves taking every opportunity to experience new food and culture with his wife and daughter.
